As of November 11, 2021, Safespill holds 3 Military Friendly awards, including the 2022 bronze employer, 2022 supplier diversity program, and 2021 designated employer, and 2 HIRE Vets awards, including the 2021 platinum and 2020 gold.

Employers 2022 Bronze Award

Military Friendly rates organizations based on 6 different categories to receive the bronze award, ranking within 30% of the 10th-ranked organization. Safespill exceeded the benchmark standards in all 6, which includes veteran-focused recruiting & sourcing, policies & compliance, support & retention, culture & commitment, opportunity & advancement, and hiring & onboarding. Supplier Diversity Award

Final results and ratings are determined by combining an organization’s survey scores with the assessment of the organization’s ability to meet minimum thresholds for using veteran-owned businesses (VOBs). Read more details here:

HIRE Vets – U.S. Department of Labor

Platinum Award

The program, by rule, recognizes an employer’s efforts to recruit, employ, and retain veterans. A platinum HIRE Vets award has higher ranking requirements to meet, including the employer hired over 10% veterans of all employees hired and maintained at least a 10% veteran workforce. Safespill’s Veteran Initiative

Safespill is committed to supporting veterans in the community. Working closely with the DoD as a military contractor is a large motivator for our veteran team members. Currently, our team consists of 25% of veterans from all branches of service. Our Veteran ERG is missioned to help support our veterans and their families and military programs outside of the company.
