We are incredibly proud to announce that ILDFA is now formally recognized in the newly issued UFC 4-211-01, Aircraft Maintenance Hangars, dated September 30, 2026.
While Safespill has been providing fire protection for military aircraft hangars for years, seeing ILDFA formally recognized in the unified design criteria serving the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Army, and Marine Corps is a significant milestone for our company and our team.
This means the men and women working in these hangars can be protected from exposure to firefighting foam, while the aircraft they maintain remain protected against ignitable liquid fires, without compromising operational readiness.
Most importantly, this recognition represents a major step toward achieving our mission of transitioning the world to environmentally safe fire protection.
