Join our Webinar on Layouts & Sizing for Installing ILDFA in Hangars

December 8, 2025 | Industry Education

We invite you to a technical session focused on Layouts & Sizing for aircraft hangars installing Ignitable Liquid Drainage Floor Assembly (ILDFA).

This educational session is designed for engineers, architects, designers, and facility stakeholders who already understand ILDFA fundamentals. While a short recap will be provided, this webinar will go beyond the basics, focusing on translating aircraft layouts and hangar configurations into practical ILDFA designs.

Why Attend

  • Determine appropriate ILDFA sizing and layout based on aircraft geometry and spill scenarios.
  • Differentiate between design strategies for new and retrofit installations.
  • Coordinate architectural, civil, and fire protection inputs to achieve a code compliant, cost-efficient design.
  • Hear from Kyle Giubbini, Lead Product Engineer at Safespill, who has been with the company for over a decade. He has been directly involved from ILDFA’s early fire testing and development, through code adoption, and into the most recent NFPA 409 (2026 edition).

This session is for informational purposes only.
Pricing or commercial terms will not be discussed.

We recommend reviewing the ILDFA Design Guideline before the webinar. Download it from the button below.
