Safespill has been awarded the Ignitable Liquid Drainage Flooring Assembly fire protection scope in a new MV-22 hangar at RAAF Base Darwin, supporting the Royal Australian Air Force.
This is a big step. Safespill’s ILDFA system brings foam-free, chemical-free fire protection into Australia, using extremely low water volumes while reducing infrastructure complexity, cost per hangar, and improving operational reliability.
We expect this to be the first of many. The shift toward environmentally safe, low-water demand fire protection in aviation is accelerating, and Australia is now part of that movement.
